BALINESE INTERLOCKING METALLOPHONE
Went to Chapel of the Chimes on Saturday to check out Gamelan Sekar Jaya. They're a Balinese damce troupe and orchestra? ensemble? not sure what to call the musicians but they're fucking cool. Definitely some rad intricate off time signature pieces.
After the performance I explored the rest of the chapel of the chimes. Awesome place with tons of antechambers and gardens. Definitely worth making a trip to wander around.
