I'm putting this piece in a show with some folks from one shot tattoo and others.  Only this one night to come check it cause its comin down the next day I believe.  Thursday February 12th at 8 PM  111 Minna in SF.

Gamelan Sekar Jaya at the Chapel of the Chimes

BALINESE INTERLOCKING METALLOPHONE

Went to Chapel of the Chimes on Saturday to check out Gamelan Sekar Jaya.  They're a Balinese damce troupe and orchestra? ensemble? not sure what to call the musicians but they're fucking cool.  Definitely some rad intricate off time signature pieces.

After the performance I explored the rest of the chapel of the chimes.  Awesome place with tons of antechambers and gardens.  Definitely worth making a trip to wander around.
