So I've been a little sick and work is slow, so I've been able to take a couple days off. Today I went to San Mateo to complete a small task at the shop and afterwards I went up to Laurelwood to go for a walk in the sun. Originally, I had intended to just walk to the top of the hill, hang out for a minute and come back down. This turned into following a small deer trail for two hours through the backwoods. It was absolutely incredible.
Started here.
This hill is really steep.
This bone was there.
This bird was there singing.
This tree was glowing.
I saw a few of these piles of sticks. They definitely did not just happen to fall like that. Some kind of den or nest?
